La calçotada

The calçotada at El Vinyet can be of two types. The traditional one consists of calçots (a kind of long thin sweet onions) and their home-cooked sauce, longaniza and blood sausage with beans, lamb meat with potatoes and artichokes and, finally as a desert, an orange and a catalan cream. All the meal is served with wine and cava from the same county and coffee from Valls. We also have the option to choose the calçotada à la carte and order calçots as a starter
